waterlily octopus by Faye-ohki waterlily octopus by Faye-ohki
Even though i can crochet quite well, i've been wanting to venture into knitting amigurumi as well.
I purchased the book "amigurumi Knits" a while back ago but until the other night i couldn't make up my mind on what to make or what yarn to use. Then i was at walmart, saw this varigated yarn and *ding* knew i had to do this.
Now i want to make a whole army of knit octopi. seriously.

not that bad really. I held them in place while i stitched the legs up, then twisted them together and wrapped the ends with yarn to get rid of the pokey bits before stitching it all shut.
